This event is part of the 110 the Baguio Charter anniversary and this is going to be on September 20 to the 22 nd at the Malcolm Square. This is a showcase of all Cultures that Baguio City has Embraced forming part and parcel of the Cultural Diversity of Baguio.
Baguio City is known to be the Home to many Cultures yet steadfast in its preservation of its identity. This Cultural Village Celebrates the Diversity of Culture with the Theme: “ ONE BAGUIO, MELTING POT OF CULTURES.”
Events slated for the duration of September 20-22 will be the exhibit of various cultures where huts shall be installed within Malcolm Square to be decorated by the various cultural organizations depicting their tradition. They shall also be allowed to display their various artifacts, curio items and delicatessen. However, no selling shall be conducted onsite, but the exhibitors may take orders and transact formally within their respective establishments of trade.
Alongside the said exhibit shall be cultural performances of The Cordilleran Culture ( Ibaloi, Kalinga, Apayao, Mt. Province, Benguet among others). Part of local cultures shall be from Pangasinan, Visayan and Mindanao. American, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Fil-indian will also be part of the exhibit and performances.
This is a community event spearheaded by the City Government of Baguio in coordination and cooperation with the various cultural groups and organizations in Baguio.
